Selective Call Rejection

Selective Call Rejection allows you to reject calls from selected numbers or from other numbers that meet certain criteria.

To set up this feature:

  1. From the main menu, select “Incoming Calls” from the left-hand menu. Then, click “Selective Call Rejection” from the table.
  2. If there are no entries, the feature is off (see screenshot below). 
  3. To create an entry, click “Add.” The Incoming Calls – Selective Call Rejection Add screen appears.
  4. In the Description text box, enter a description that identifies the selective rejection service entry, such as “Telemarketer” or “Spam Calls”.
    1. Select “Reject call” or “Do not reject call” to enable or disable call rejection.
    2. From the Selected Time Schedule drop-down list, select the time schedule.
    3. From the Selected Holiday Schedule drop-down list, select the holiday schedule.
    4. Set up desired call rejection settings under “Calls”.
      1. To reject calls from any number, select “From any phone number.” Note: This will block ALL incoming calls.
      2. To reject forwarded calls, select “Forwarded.” Note: This will block all calls forwarded to your line from another phone.
      3. To reject calls from specific numbers, select “From following phone numbers” and specify the phone numbers as follows:
        1. To reject calls from any private number, select “Any private number.”
        2. To reject calls from any unknown number, select “Any unavailable number.”
        3. To reject calls from specific telephone numbers, enter the full numbers (not extensions) in the Specific phone numbers boxes. You must type the complete number, including +, the country code and the phone number. For example, “+1” must precede a long-distance number within the U.S. (+12065551234). To add more numbers, create another entry in another Specific phone numbers box. If you need to block more than 12 numbers, you can create multiple selective call rejection entries.

  6. To modify the entry, click “Edit” next to the entry and then change the information.
  7. To remove the entry, click “Delete.”
  8. Click “OK” to save and exit.
