Terms and conditions and additional charges and fees may apply. Comparisons are between GCI’s No Worries plans and Alaska Communications®️ and MTA™️’s Unlimited DSL plans. These DSL plans are advertised at 10-50mbps, with actual speeds varying based on location. GCI No Worries plans start at 250 mbps (download)/5 mbps(upload), and will experience a Basic Level of service of 10 mbps (download)/2 mbps (upload) once a customer uses all included usage for a billing period.
Free streaming device requires a 24-month device financing agreement—monthly payments will be discounted to $0 for the 24-month period. If internet service is disconnected within the 24-month period, the remaining balance will be due. Devices will be shown separately on invoice. Offer not valid for business customers, property-provided internet customers, or ACP customers.
Once you have used 100% of the data included in your plan, you can continue enjoying your service at a reduced speed, or you can buy an additional usage bucket. For more information, read the No Worries FAQ.
Your plan speed is the maximum speed expected to be achievable for that plan. Several factors will affect the actual speed you experience. These factors include, but are not limited to: the capability of the device you're using to access the internet; the application and/or server/web site you are accessing; limitations of Wi-Fi and other equipment you may be using; other active users and/or devices on your home network at the same time; routers on the public internet being over-loaded by high demand - particularly during peak hours of the day.
GCI's internet speeds now exceed the capability of many home networks, routers, and other devices. Running speed tests from a single device is no longer an effective measure of service quality. If you feel your service is impaired, please contact technical support to help identify any issues that may exist.
