Repair work near Chignik Bay is ongoing, and full restoration is now expected to take longer than the original June 12 estimate due to incoming inclement weather and challenging repair conditions. Internet service remains available at a limited level as we manage network capacity using backup satellite systems. Wireless calling, texting, and limited mobile data are also available in the affected communities, including Akutan, Chignik Bay, False Pass, King Cove, Perryville, and Unalaska.
