Guest portal login options

Your choice of guest login options depends on both the user experience you want for your guests and how much you want to leverage the free WiFi you're providing for marketing and promotional purposes.

Enable Free WiFi  Guests just have to accept the terms and conditions.
Connect with Email Guests need to accept the terms and conditions and provide an email address. If they've chosen to opt for email communications, the email provided will be saved. You can download these email addresses for your marketing and promotional needs.
Connect with Passcode  Guests need to accept the terms and conditions and enter the passcode you created when the guest portal was configured.

When a guest registers on your Guest portal their authentication token lasts for 24 hours, although there is no session time limit. During this same 24-hour period, if their device remembers the network, it will reconnect automatically.

Every subsequent day they connect to the guest network with the same device, they will need to confirm they are the same person again to get a new 24-hour token.

Every time your guest connects using a new device or Mac, they will need to register on your Guest portal again.

  2. Choose their email communications preferences if you have this feature enabled.
    • If they choose Yes, they will proceed to the login option configured, and their email is saved for download.
