Eligibility
The promotion is open to all Alaska residents, 18 years or older on January 27, 2025, except the employees and their immediate families (spouses and parents, siblings, and children and their spouses) of GCI, their affiliates or subsidiaries, their advertising agencies, federal or USAC-funded entities, and any other company involved with the design, production, execution, or distribution of promotion materials. For this promotion, an Alaska resident is defined as an individual having either a valid Alaska Driver’s License, proof of receipt of a 2024 Alaska Permanent Fund dividend check, or a valid Alaska Voter Registration Card.

How to Participate
The promotion begins at 8:00 a.m. Alaska Standard Time (“AST”) on January 27, 2025 and ends at 8:00pm AST on March 23 (“Entry Period”). Alaska residents may enter by providing their First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Contact Phone number, Mailing Address, and a valid Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan account number via an online form located here -- Limit of one (1) online entry per individual for the duration of the promotion. Multiple online entries by any individual will be eliminated by comparing name, address, e-mail address, and phone information provided. Entries must be submitted by 8:00pm AST on the Sunday before each weekly drawing. No purchase necessary to enter to win.

Additionally, where sold, all GCI eligible residential primary account holders with:
(a) a valid e-mail address associated with their GCI account AND
(b) a valid Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan account linked to their GCI account will receive one (1) entry for each line of postpaid mobile service and residential internet service on their account. (By way of example, an eligible primary account holder who has residential internet service and two lines of postpaid mobile service, and also a valid e-mail address and Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan on their account, will receive three (3) entries.) Prepaid services and other GCI services besides postpaid mobile and residential internet do not qualify.

Entries (including online entries and entries for GCI customers as described above) are cumulative over the course of the promotion—in other words, when a winner is drawn, all remaining non-winning entries (and any additional entries) will be used for the following week’s drawing.

Prize
Over the course of this promotion, GCI will draw 560 Regular Prize winners, each of which will receive an award of 10,000 Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles, and one Grand Prize winner who will receive an aware of 1,000,000 Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Miles. The value of each Regular Prize is approximately $270.00, and the value of the Grand Prize is approximately $27,500. Winners must have an Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan account to redeem the certificate. Prize value may vary depending on departure location and dates of travel. Other restrictions and blackout dates may apply. GCI will work with Alaska Airlines to have the miles deposited into each winner’s account, which may take 4-6 weeks from the conclusion of the promotion.

Once miles are deposited, it is Winner’s responsibility to maintain compliance with Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan requirements. If no mileage is credited to an account during the first nine months after it is opened, or if an account is inactive for longer than 2 years, Alaska Airlines may close the account, delete any mileage balance and reassign the Mileage Plan number. Deleted mileage can be reinstated for a $75 fee for up to 1 year. Activity in an account includes redeeming a Mileage Plan award or accruing mileage in the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Program. All airport, travel taxes and any other incidental expenses associated with the prize are the sole responsibility of winner. The Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Program Miles awarded herein are subject to the Conditions of Membership which govern member participation in the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Program (the “Plan”). It is the Winners’ responsibility to read and understand these Conditions of Membership and to monitor the Alaska Airlines website to determine if there have been any changes. No rights of any kind accrue in the Plan except as specifically defined within the Plan. There are no additional exceptions to the Plan’s Conditions of Membership other than those stated in the Plan. Alaska Airlines reserves the right to interpret and apply these Conditions of Membership in its sole discretion. The Plan may be modified by Alaska Airlines at any time, or terminated with 180 days' notice.

The prize(s) that may be awarded to the eligible winner(s) are not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize.

Drawings
Eligibility for each week’s drawing will be determined at 8:00pm AST the night before each drawing is to occur. Winner will be selected by random drawing from all entries. GCI will select seventy (70) Regular Prize winners each week for 8 weeks, in Monday drawings that will occur on February 3, February 10, February 17, February 24, March 3, March 10, March 17, and March 24, and will announce those seventy (70) winners over the course of the ensuing week.

The Grand Prize winner will be drawn on March 24 and announced on or around March 28. Odds of being awarded prizes depend upon the number of valid entries received and may change over the course of the promotion as more entries are submitted. The winner will be selected by individuals whose decisions in all matters relating to it are final. GCI reserves the right to change the entry deadline, selection method, and prizes at any time.

Award Claims
Winners will contacted at the e-mail address associated with their account, or the e-mail address provided along with their online entry. Winners may also be announced using their first name, last initial, and city of residence, on gci.com and social media. All prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the promotion end date. If a winner cannot be contacted or is disqualified for any reason, GCI reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or not to award that winner’s prize, in its sole discretion.

In order to claim prize, each winner must confirm that they meet all eligibility requirements (by clicking a link in the e-mail) before prize will be awarded. Winners may also be required to show proof of age and Alaska residency as stated above and sign a written Affidavit of Eligibility, Publicity/Liability Release, and provide a Taxpayer Identification Number. Failure to comply may result in disqualification from this promotion.

Resolution of Disputes
All entrants agree that any dispute concerning eligibility for participation in, or for the awards in this promotion, must be first submitted in writing to a panel of individuals representing GCI, whose decisions as to all matters related to the promotion shall be final. Any disputes brought must be filed within thirty (30) days of the conclusion of the promotion. All entrants agree that GCI liability to any entrant under this promotion shall not exceed ten percent of the wholesale value of the award.

General
By participating, entrants acknowledge and agree as follows:
1. To be bound by these rules and acknowledge and agree that the decisions rendered on behalf of GCI are final.
2. The winner hereby consents to the use of their names and/or likenesses by GCI for the purposes of advertising without any payment or other compensation.
3. Any tax liability is solely the responsibility of the winner. Winners may subject to federal, state, and local laws regarding taxation of or participation in frequent traveler programs, and are solely responsible for compliance with such laws.
4. In the event of unavailability of the above stated awards, GCI reserves the right to substitute an award of comparable value. GCI reserves the right to correct errors in media announcement or printed materials in conjunction with this promotion.
